Description:

This war game offers an engaging approach for players to enhance their understanding of fractions while enjoying a fun-filled experience. The game is designed with a progressive difficulty level: the beginner stage features fractions of halves, fourths, and eighths; the easy level introduces thirds and sixths; the medium level incorporates fifths and tenths; and the most challenging version includes percents alongside all previously mentioned fractions.

The objective is to collect all the cards from "Dr. Cotter," the game's developer, who is associated with the RightStart Math program. Players initiate the game by tapping on their deck and then selecting the card representing the greater value—success leads to claiming the cards from their opponent. In cases where both cards are equal, a 'war' ensues, adding an element of excitement.

Error handling is thoughtfully integrated; if a player selects an incorrect card, a linear fraction chart will pulse to indicate the mistake. This chart can be enlarged to facilitate easier comparison of values, enhancing the learning experience.

The game concludes with a winner being declared as the player who collects all the cards. Overall, this game promises extended hours of enjoyable fraction practice, making it an effective educational tool.
